The proposal concerns an underground vacation residence situated on a steep,rocky slope in the northeastern part of Crete.The distinct Cretan landscape,with its striking features and wild Beauty,calls for an architecture that is intrinsically linked to the land.The design seeks to establish a dialogue between the landscape and the building,creating various ‘’pauses’’ that negotiate this relationship.The communal spaces from a ‘’Π’’ shape and are positioned at the lowest level of the composition,framing the view toward the sea.Meanwhile,the private spaces
extend linearly at the upper level,enclosing the shape and leaving a central atrium,whitch serves as the heart of the residence.
