Office Building

The architects were inspired by the box-in-a-box logic. For the maximum utilization of the plots’ surface, the office building is designed as a compact volume from which smaller volumes are removed and added.

The Materials used were selected in their primary form: visible concrete, glass and metal are combined in a way that highlight a modern building. The volume subtraction from the main building creates semi-outdoor spaces for the offices, which are marked by visible concrete. The additions concern balconies highlighted by the use of corten steel.

The ground floor, which is the most public part of the building, is characterized by large openings. To protect the street elevation from the western sun, metal panels are designed on the upper floors to provide shading and privacy.

The building has four floors and a basement that serves as a garage for employees. The reception and the conference rooms are located on the ground floor. On each floor there are administration offices and open-space work areas with bathrooms and a kitchenette, making it possible for each floor to be used as an independent office.

The interior design has taken in consideration the comfortable use of offices, in order to achieve conditions for creative work in bright and energy-efficient spaces.
